Dr Jay Mudiyanse is a dual-trained Emergency Physician and Rural Generalist, working as an Emergency Physician at Northern Health and as a General Practitioner at DPV Health, Melbourne. He has a strong interest in bridging emergency and primary care, medical education, and developing practical models of care that improve what happens beyond the emergency department. In 2026, Jay convened the inaugural emx conference, bringing together clinicians from Australia and Sri Lanka for a highly interactive program of shared learning and international collaboration. Building on the success of emx, he is now convening embed 2027 in Da Nang, continuing to create meaningful connections across emergency medicine, primary care, and the wider healthcare system.
